Jennifer grew up in San Francisco’s East Bay taking tap and creative movement as a kid at a local community center. When she turned 18, she relocated to the Florida Panhandle and started taking ballet, jazz and modern as well as many classes in early childhood education at the local community college. In 2005, she graduated with an associate’s degree in Dance from Northwest Florida State College and went on to teach Creative Dance, Pre-Ballet and Ballet for about 8 years at Northwest Florida Ballet. She continued her dance training at Northwest Florida Ballet taking classes and often participating in the dance recitals with the Ballet 5 class. Jennifer also had the privilege of dancing with Jazzy Blue Dance while living in Florida, most notably “A Change Gonna Come” piece for the NAACP’s 100th anniversary. She relocated to Colorado in 2017 for her husband’s career. Together they have four amazing children as well as four cats, a tarantula, and mini pig.
